A Fictional Film about the Bay Area as seen through Public Transit
'LUNI' Is an independent film currently in pre-production, seeking funding to produce a pilot and initial startup capitol for the pre-production and marketing for festival submissions.
The story is a quasi-factual depiction of the culture and human interactions that happen on Bay area transit options.
The emphasis will be on the diversity of people, their culture, social statis and humane character as delisciously illustrated by a variety of interlocking character development, scenarios and vignettes.
This film intends to show the true character of SF and the Bay area and what makes traveling on public tranportation an adventure of a life time.
A baker's dozen of main characters unconsciously are brought together through their travels and circumstance as they mingle with people from all over the world on a variety of buses, trains, hired cars, cabs, bikes, skateboards, rollerskates and their own two feet.
Audiences will be dazzled by stunning photography of San Francisco and the Bay area's finest locals. Product placement will be localized to local businesses and patrons. Social, political, spiritual and cultural issues will be presented in the casual conversations and experiences riders will encounter with the audience. This film wil be shot from the view of one who may be observing as a traveler.
